[Outdoors]

If you are an outdoor enthusiast then Wenatchee is a great place to be. In and around the valley there are   many things to do for every season. Here are some outdoor activities many locals enjoy doing around the   valley.

   =Ride the Currents=

Do you like to kayak, canoe, water ski, wake board? The convenience of being in Wenatchee is having a river   going through our town. The Columbia River is a great place for water related sports. Along with the Wenatchee   River joining the Columbia River, this is a fine place for kayaking, canoeing or rafting.

   =Hiking=

With mountains and foothills nearby you will also find trails. If anything, while staying in Wenatchee, hiking   Saddle Rock is a must because it will give you a nice view of the whole valley. If you’re not too fond of snakes,   it’s best to do hiking in the spring and in the fall so you avoid snake season. Other than that enjoy the trails.

   =Biking=

Maybe you’re a biking type of person? The Wenatchee Loop is 12 miles that goes around the Columbia River   where you get to bike in both Wenatchee and East Wenatchee. The Loop is also a good place for running if   you’re a runner. But don’t think the Loop is the only place for biking. There’s Devil’s Gulch for example.
