[Wenatchee] Welcome, to Wenatchee: Wenatchee may look like a sleepy town but a lot goes on. With places to eat, places to go and hang out at, and places to go be outdoors one can never get bored. Take a look around at highly recommended places to go and dine at, the places to go outside and much more. -Spring- Spring weather is relatively nice. Expect a lot of wind; the wind will be blowing away the left over snow from winter. There will be a few showers here and there but you’ll mainly be seeing sunny weather. Cool temperatures last from about late February to early May. -Summer- Summer starts at about May, spring is still finishing up but you’ll feel the temperature start to rise. Wenatchee generally has hot dry summers due to it being a partial desert. Because of where Wenatchee is we live in a rain shadow so don’t expect a lot of rain if any. Around August is when the temperature can be its hottest and the temperatures start to cool off midway into September. -Fall- Fall begins about the end of September, the temperature slowly drops. November when the temperature really begins to drop you’ll see showers every now and then, more frequent than spring showers. November can get pretty nippy both in temperature and wind. |

-Winter- Winter weather comes at about the end of November, sometimes it can come earlier. We start to see snow about the beginning of November up in the mountains and up on Mission Ridge. Mission Ridge usually opens about Thanksgiving Day. Snow comes about December, but we’ve had dry winters and wet snowy ones so come prepared anyways. The snow starts to melt about late February and then spring starts up. What you should have in your wardrobe when in Wenatchee & not seeing patients: • Pants, jeans (Fall, Winter, & Spring) • Long sleeve shirts (Fall, Winter & Spring) • Wind breaker or rain jacket or both (Fall, & Spring) • Sturdy shoes that won’t get ruined easily (All seasons) • Winter jacket (Winter) • Shorts, capris, (Winter & late Spring) • Scarves, hats, gloves (Winter & Fall) We’d hope you’d never get bored in Wenatchee.
